The Homematic IP Switch Actuator and Meter (16 A) is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and offers switching of loads as well as detection of the energy consumption. The high switching capacity of 3680 W for up to 20 minutes and a permanent load of 2760 W the device is particularly suitable for high loads of up to 16 A. Thanks to its compact design, the dimming actuator not only fits into standard flush-mounted boxes, but also into surface-mounted junction boxes (e.g. ELS Spelsberg Abox 25) with IP65 as well. In this way, the switch actuator and meter is also suitable for operation in damp basements or outdoor areas. The minor variations in measurement accuracy of only +/- 0,03 W of the measured value ensure that also low consumption like the energy consumption can be precisely determined. The device can be controlled e.g. via the free Homematic IP app or Homematic IP Remote Control.
