Ricoh has been ranked 39th in the Carbon Clean200™, a list of 200 publicly traded companies around the world that are leading the way to a clean energy future.
This is the seventh consecutive year that Ricoh has been included in the Clean200 since its inception in 2019, moving up 10 places from last year. This recognition reflects a high regard for Ricoh’s sales expansion of products and services that help customers reduce their environmental impact by leveraging technologies such as energy and resource conservation and energy generation services.
The Clean200 list is an annual ranking published by Corporate Knights, a Canadian research and media company, in collaboration with As You Sow, a US-based non-profit organisation promoting ESG investments. Utilising Corporate Knights’ Clean Revenue Database, which investigates the proportion of a company’s revenue generated from businesses that contribute to the clean economy, the top 200 companies from 35 countries were selected from a pool of 8,359 global companies in 2025. Thirty-two companies from the IT sector, including Ricoh, secured a position in the 2025 list.
Ricoh’s approach to sustainability is to pursue a sustainable society through a Three Ps Balance: Prosperity (economic), People (society) and Planet (environment). To realise this desired society, Ricoh has identified seven material issues in two areas, ‘Resolving social issues through business’ and ‘Robust management infrastructure’ and set 16 ESG targets linked with the material to work toward solving these issues.
