Launched in September 2024, Aduna Global is combining and selling network APIs globally, with a vision that new applications will work anywhere, and on any network, paving the way for developers to innovate quickly and easily. Aduna’s platform is based on the CAMARA open-source project, driven by the GSMA and the Linux Foundation.
Whilst Ericsson holds 50% stake in Aduna, the remaining 50% stake has brought together América Móvil, AT&T, airtel, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Jio, Singtel, Telstra, Telefónica, T-Mobile, Verizon, Vodafone and more recently KDDI Corporation.
At the end of January Anthony Bartolo was appointed CEO, previously serving as Vonage’s Chief Operating Officer for just 3 months. In February further leadership appointments were made: Claudiu Pasa as Chief Product & Technology Officer, Christine Dye as Chief Financial Officer, and Peter Arbitter as Chief Commercial Officer.
Aduna’s new brand identity was revealed during a media and industry analyst event in London ahead of MWC ’25. Additionally, Aduna announced new developer platform partners Infobip and Sinch, strengthening their developer ecosystem alongside Google Cloud and Vonage.
